Mantra in Transcendental Meditation

Mantra in Transcendental Meditation

The personal Mantra (a sound or vibration) that we receive when we first learn Transcendental Meditation is subtle but yet, a very powerful tool.

It will be there for us when we need it, as we start to meditate but we don’t try to hold on to it or keep thinking it as it starts to slip away. The Mantra will always find finer states of itself, it will get quieter and quieter, it’s mental pronunciation will get so subtle as it sinks into deep rest and silence.
The mind will follow the Mantra into this state of pure consciousness, the state of pure awareness, creative intelligence and pure thought. This is Transcendence, which forms the basis of TM.

Martin Greig is an independent TM teacher, working both in St Albans (Hertford) and Barnet (North London). Please don’t hesitate to contact Martin for more information on any aspects of Transcendental Meditation.
